I have a small balcony. Its a funny shape because it tapers. I’ve tried growing lots of different things. I’ve never been particularly strategic, preferring to try things that look good in the shop (sometimes works, sometimes does not!).

I liked the idea of having seating there but have now focussed on maximising the growing space. I love flowers for a bit of colour but also really enjoy being able to grow fresh herbs and vegetables so that’s the focus now.

Tomotoes do really well.
