Dunvegan garden visit (2019 and 2026, Isle of Skye)


Dunvegan Castle on the North West of Skye (Scotland) has amazing lush gardens. I’ve been twice and loved it both times.

They have a lot of bright blue hydrangeas that my partner once bought me as a present called ‘boogie woogie’ but you need ericaceous soil to keep them blue.

I love Scottish gardens because they are so green and naturally colourful. If you go be sure to check out the vegetable garden and the leaning greenhouse they’ve filled with established climbing plants.
